Do you want to work in modern offices in the centre of Brno?
Atlas Copco, though not that noticeably, is almost everywhere.
Every third car in the world uses tools made by Atlas Copco. Originally established in 1873 in Sweden, our company produces compressors, vacuum pumps, industrial tools and construction machines and is proud to have 34,000 employees all over the world.
In the Czech Republic, we own two Shared Service Centres: one in Prague and the other in Brno. The Brno location has more than 400 employees and provides commercial support in areas like compressor and vacuum pump equipment. Work with Atlas Copco and become a part of the world.
Business Process Improvement Specialist
I work in the Business Process Improvement team and I’m responsible for local activities and global projects. Besides this, I cover the implementation of a new system for processing orders.
In 2015, I came to Atlas Copco from a similar company seated in Brno. When comparing these two companies, in Atlas Copco I see a professional approach and more relaxed employees. I like the atmosphere here and the possibilities the company offers us. Not only from a career point of view, but the company supports good causes, and the development of its employees.
I like the dynamic environment here as well as the possibility to work in global teams and projects.
Prepare for a career rise, a number of activities outside the office and a friendly team.
I adore sports (soccer, ice hockey, snowboarding and bike riding), I play electric guitar and I like to go to concerts.
With our team of engineers, we are putting our efforts in the reduction of servicing costs, while not harming the quality and reliability of the product. I perform the related testing and collect necessary data. I also communicate with the product managers and workers from the procurement and quality departments. My task is to find the main reason for product complaints and to recommend rectification measures to improve the quality of respective products. On the basis of the acquired information, we analyse and adjust operational procedures, steps and technical and servicing solutions.
I’ve worked for this company since 2009. I thought that I’d stay here only shortly, but after a couple of months I was promoted to a senior position. After another two years, I got the opportunity to work in an American branch. After five years in the United States, I decided to come back to Brno. I started to work as a Warranty Specialist and I’ve seen how far the company has progressed in five years.
Atlas Copco is a multicultural company, where a number of young professionals work in beautiful offices with a great panorama and a friendly atmosphere. The company also offers a number of activities for employees, not only during working hours, but also afterwards. There are constantly new opportunities occurring here, so I don’t see a reason to leave this company, as I know that it will support me in my career development.
Atlas Copco is not your typical corporate, just taking care of itself. It really takes care of its own employees. Atlas Copco will always look for new opportunities for you across the entire organisation.
I like to play volleyball, in particular beach volleyball, and I like spending my free time with friends. As I am Mexican, I am passionate about dancing. I like to travel, go to the gym, and taste new meals.
Global Quality Systems Manager
I work as a Global Quality System Manager, working closely with other companies within our group to identify verified procedures and coordinate the certification procedures in 38 locations and 11 countries.
I’ve worked here since 2009. At first, I worked as a Sales Coordinator for the US team. After some time, I became a team leader, working closely with other teams and departments all over Europe. After my second maternity leave, I got the opportunity to work in a senior position in the quality department, where I was responsible for internal and external customer audits. Since December 2017, I work as a Global Quality Systems Manager.
I like the possibility of meeting extraordinary people who become my friends. However, what I appreciate most is the possibility to work from home, especially when my children were small. I appreciate how Atlas Copco allows its employees to keep balance between their work and personal life.
Regardless if you want only a good job or you care about your career rise, Atlas Copco is a great place to start.
I love running :)
Customer Care Manager
I work as a Customer Care Manager. My task is to secure high-quality services to customers and to keep my team happy and motivated. I speak to people in different positions every day, making my work very interesting, but also very demanding sometimes.
In 2010, I entered Atlas Copco in Belgium. I worked on a global project related to the evaluation of customer satisfaction. After six months, I got the opportunity for long-term cooperation and in four years, I was promoted to the position of head of this project. Later, I became a manager in the customer service department. After the Edwards company became part of Atlas Copco, I became responsible for the implementation of a similar project across the entire company. It was my chance to come back to the Czech Republic and to work for Atlas Copco Services (formerly Edwards Services).
Personally, I like the international and multicultural environment very much. I appreciate that employees are treated with respect and there is a confidence towards employees. I also got to know many people living all around the world who became my friends.
From my point of view, Atlas Copco is a company for people with an open mind who are prepared to take responsibility not only for their job, but also for their career.
I like to spend my time with family and friends. I like sports as well. I like soccer, squash, hiking and cycling.
I work here as a Purchase-to-Pay Manager preparing PtP operations for Southern Europe, the US and Canada. I am also responsible for the PtP procedure for one manufacturing company in Belgium, controlled by pro Atlas Copco.
Already during my studies, I found a part-time job here in the Accounts Payable department. After finishing my studies, I joined the same team as an Accounts Payable Specialist and after a year, I got the opportunity to become head of this department. After another two years, I became part of a team, which became the first team formed as a consequence of the transition of financial procedures from the entire world to Brno. Later, I became manager of another project related to the mentioned transition.
Mainly, I like the possibility of personal development, change opportunities and improvement of existing procedures. In Atlas Copco, you will never get bored, as there is always some change or innovation waiting for you.
Be prepared for change and don’t be afraid to raise your hand and propose any improvement.
Most of my free time I spend with my dog in the woods or I devote my time to my husband.
