CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER - German of French as an advantage

A sales and customer care center in Brno supports Atlas Copco companies abroad in the sales of components and service for compressors, planning process and back-office processes.

One of the supported brand is a company Edmac in Belgium which expands its support team in Brno.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Input of orders based on the daily orders we receive from our customers
  • Be the central contact for the customers concerning all topics related to open orders – communicate the status of open orders and inform the customers where necessary
  • Function as an owner of the specific case, the internal voice of the customer to coordinate all the internal process and have a responsibility for orders shipping in line with our commitments
  • Support our warehouse, give priorities, support the daily logistics activities, and safeguard our warehouse performance
  • Book & follow up on all outbound shipments, making sure all our goods are shipped with the right service and Ex-works pickups are done as planned
  • Follow up the transport performance of our transport partners, be part of the monthly performance meetings and take actions were needed
  • As customs expert, you will safeguard that all our non-EU shipments get the necessary documents like * invoicing, certification of origin, etc. Within Edmac you are one of the spokespersons for customs related matters.
  • Work closely together with the other colleagues within the operations team to safeguard the best customer service possible

What are the other requirements for the job?

  • Min secondary education
  • Great English is a must because of daily communication with foreign customers and colleagues
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Previous relevant working experience (customer care) from a multiculture environment is considered a big plus
  • Extra language or willingness to rapidly learn a new one is an advantage (German, French)
  • Knowledge of system Navision is also an advantage
